When I came home from Israel after seminary, I was on a major high. It had been a wonderful year filled with intense, deep and insightful learning. I had a new appreciation for Yiddishkeit that I had never experienced before and I made plans with chavrusas to keep it up.
But then day to day life kicked in.
I started working for Shluchim, my life got busy and I quickly came to realize that I wouldn’t be able to learn again the way I did in seminary, and I truly missed it.
By the time Chof Beis Shevat came around, I was really in need of spiritual uplifting. A friend convinced me to sign up for the post-seminary kinus and it brought back that wonderful feeling of seminary again, where you can eat sleep and breath chassidus.
The entire event was done so professionally, the speakers were deep and relatable, the topics were so diverse including dating, marriage, Chinuch, Avodas Hashem and even nutrition! The food was incredible but most of all, it was a chance to reconnect.
I know I am not the only one who had this struggle since seminary. Now that a year has past it would be selfish for me not to share my thoughts on this subject. I am turning to all of you to sign up especially this year – a Hakhel Year! You and your friends will definitely get a re-boost to continue on your Shlichus.
A flash discount sale for participation in the Kinus begins Tuesday 5:00 PM until Wednesday at midnight at youngwomenskinus.weebly.com
So looking forward to kinus this year!!! Thank you chayala and sarah!! Amazing amazing!
