Rabbi Chaim and Bassy Mendelsohn, directors of Chabad of Centrepointe, brought together hundreds for a Lag Baomer Parade and Festival of Unity.
Ottawa experienced a day of true unity as members of many shuls and schools, and organizations, gathered to march in a beautiful Lag Baomer parade.
The parade was inspired by Ottawa’s first Shliach Rabbi Mordechai Berger z”l, and the Ottawa parades of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.
The parade was dedicated to the selfless soldiers in the IDF.
Following the parade over 500 attendees enjoyed a delicious BBQ, great rides, music, a local children’s choir and much more.
