A large and festive event at the Marina Roscha Synagogue and Jewish Community Center on the last day of Chanukah marked the conclusion of the daily learning cycle of the Rambam.
Shluchim and members of the local Chabad community took part in the Siyum Harambam celebration that was entertained by the Cheder Menachem Choir led by Rabbi Mendel Markowitz.
The siyum itself was conducted by Rabbi Dan Lokshin, Mashgiach of the Yeshiva Gedola Tomchei Tmimim in Moscow. The new cycle was started by Dayan Rabbi Yisroel Birenbaum.
Other speakers were Eliyahu Pablov, a bochur in the yeshiva; Rabbi Menachem Mendel Deren, Director of the Chief Rabbinate of Moscow; and the Shliach Rabbi Moshe Rochlin.
The event was emceed by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak Drutz.
