Kinus Hatmimim, the annual convention of Lubavitch bochurim learning in Chabad Yeshivos worldwide, is set to take place this Shabbos in Brooklyn, NY.
The Vaad Hatmimim Organization, headed by Rabbi Tzvi Altein, is coordinating the international Kinus, with thousands of bochurim arriving from around the world to spend Yud Shvat at the Rebbe’s Ohel and in Crown Heights.
2,500 bochurim are expected to attend this year’s gathering which is held in connection with Yud Shvat, the yahrtzeit of the Frierdiker Rebbe and will mark 62 years since the Rebbe assumed leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch.
The event will include an evening of learning on Thursday in Bais Rivkah in Crown Heights.
The weekend will culminate with a grand Farbrengen on Motzei Shabbos, in Beis Rivkah’s Rosa Hall, 470 Lefferts Ave, at 8:00 pm.
They will be hearing from noted Roshei Yeshiva and Mashpiim, including Rabbi Leibel Schapiro – Rosh Yeshiva of Miami Yeshiva Gedolah and Rabbi Eli Nosson Silberberg of Chicago, COLlive.com was told.
“We have been working to keep the program inspirational and meaningful, while retaining the extraordinary energy and koach that the Tmimim feel during this special Kinus,” a staff member of the Vaad said.
