This Thursday, May 23rd, family and friends will gather together for a Siyum Sefer Torah in honor of Mrs. Shterna Sara BlesofskyOBM, marking her 2nd yahrtzeit, the 14th of Sivan.
Sara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend to many. Whoever knew Sara, was graced with her special warmth and happy spirit. The daughter of Reb Chaim Tashkenter Hurwitz OBM, she was known as a regal woman of valor.
On Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, her 59th birthday, a few short months after her passing, her children began to write a Sefer Torah in her honor. This beautiful Torah will stand as a memory to the many who will use it.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend and celebrate this auspicious event. It will take place on Thursday, May 23rd, leaving from her family’s home, 473 Crown Street at 5pm.
“We thank you dear family and friends for turning this dream into a reality,” her family members told COLlive. “We are very touched by the tremendous and generous support that we received.”
