The Kinus Hashluchim is an annual reunion of international magnitude, bringing Shluchim together to reconnect, recharge and refocus.
From the first Kinus in 1984 with roughly 65 attendees, to the current numbers of over 3,000 Shluchim, this gathering is a unique chance for Shluchim to savor a few days of camaraderie with like-minded company devoted to the same cause and grappling with similar challenges. It is an opportunity to spiritually rejuvenate for the coming year.
Our goal is to fulfill the Rebbe’s desire that every single Shliach attend the Kinus. The Kinus Travel Fund was started spontaneously last year very close to the Kinus. When Shluchim began to realize what a great need there was, they opened their hearts and gave in an extremely generous manner.
Last year close to $10,000 was raised almost entirely from Shluchim. As a result many Shluchim were able to fly in and enjoy the Kinus with dignity.
This year we are asking everyone who can to please support this vital cause. You may also donate airline miles or credit card points, which can be turned into airfare by our volunteer travel agent.
Most importantly, if you or someone you know needs assistance, please don’t hesitate to apply. While we can’t guarantee to help everyone, we certainly plan to try. Applicants who have not been able to come for several years will be given priority.
Hatzlacha Rabba and may we all merit to finish the final Shlichus of bringing Moshiach.

The locals who house and feed the shluchim and support them – let us attend the programs too!!
the holy shluchim? the holy kinus ha’shluchim? what are we arguing about here? I’m confused….
Living so far away from my dear family and friemds, my parents not “knowing” their einiklach, and the extremely hard work that goes into shlichus without much thank you, the extreme difficulty in supporting ourselves and the less than ideal chinuch, I was incredibly hurt by those insensitive comments that really don’t understand what shluchim go through. This is a beautiful cause. Thank you to all those that help shluchim and support shluchim.
#13 – Thank you, well said #3/4 – and anyone who might have been affected by that comment – Please stop with the babyish antics. This is not the US congress and the parties crown heights vs. Shluchim All of the causes are important and no one is taking away from that. I started this fund last year when I wanted to help a friend of mine come to the Kinus for the first time, and amazingly more money was given than was needed, so I helped out a few others and it started a domino effect. The purpose of… Read more »
Some Shluchim. Even give to Ten Yad, Ohalei Torah/Lubavitcher Yeshiva Misloach Monos services…all supporting CH services they may never use. What use would u find at Kinus workshops dealing with Shlichus related issues?! If u want to attend the beautiful banquet I’m sure u can pay and attend and see the self sacrifice many Shluchim and their families have. U might even realize how dispite the challenges in CH u have it a little better in various ways.
Suppose you were living in cambodia sacrificing all comforts of Kosher food, social life, jewish education, etc. for the local neshmos, and your food consisted of all homemade food unless it is tuna fish, your local restaurant is your wife spending an extra 20 minutes to make a “fancy dinner” and then education means your child staring at a computer screen all day to get his chinuch “fix” from online school. And then the annual kinnus comes around which enables the shliach to reclaim sanity for all of 5 of 365 days but he can’t afford the airfare… Even the… Read more »
The kinus is inclusive for our funds but exclusive for us to attend or participate at ANY program. Our money is welcome, but not us. Maybe the local yokels can attend, be inspired and THEN contribute?!
I’m not even going to comment but sleep on it or watch a video on the importance the Rebbe placed on the Kinus HaShluchim.
I understand there are many needy CH and worldwide Mosdos but grow up and enough with the CH complex.
shluchim work extremely hard round the clock and this is their one time a year to be inspired and have strength for their shlichus..why not give money to help them?
some shluchim are sitting on or have access to millions while others can barely put food on the table. perhaps it would be idea to have a better distribution of funds within the system.
everyone from all over the worls comes a shnorees from the residents of CH Tishrei was a huge drain on our neighborhood. Its time that people from around the world help support CH
Joe Lieberman didn’t even mention the Rebbe once in his shabbos book and mentioned chabad once. Why not invite the Head of Aish for what’s its worth or Obama becuase he had a chanukah party at the white house
This extravagence is an outrage given that chabad families haven’t got money for food for shabbos or clothes for their kids. Everyone knows this banquet is “goodfeel” exercise to keep the parents “beleivng ” their kids will also make it one day. Needle in a haystack to get shlichus and only then if the zeide pished in Nevel!!
with #2 &3 how about when they register insted of paying 36 dollars for 5 days of staying for free with breakfast, lunch, supper they also pay a fee of 100 dollars for school fee. this way they have payed their share to school system. 100*3000=300000 not bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Give me a break. How many vital causes are there in ch.???????How about all sheluchim helping crown heights yeshivas where they graduated from??????
who said they should come if they cant afford it they should stay where they are. crown heights people have hard time paying their yeshiva teachers who have to bring parnasa home how about a fund for them specially from shluchim who have private jet and the big bank account????????

Thank you and a gutte voch!
