Just two short weeks ago a ground breaking album was released. The title, the Yess Legacy tribute double-album: A tribute to the music of Moshe Yess. The music of Moshe Yess has spanned generations and continents making a lasting impression on all who hear it.
Moshe and his music wasn’t about the fame or money, in fact he ran away from such. It was for that reason that when producers Gershon Veroba and Yerachmiel Ziegler went looking for artists to sing Moshe’s songs on the YESS LEGACY a tribute double-album, they looked for the Moshe Yess’s of today.
In the above video get a look behind the scenes and see why some of these artists signed on to be a part of this album.
Aritsts like Abie Rotenberg, SoulFarm, Avraham Rosenblum, Benny Friedman, Lenny Solomon, Baruch Chait, Andy Statman, Yerachmiel Ziegler, Moshe Hecht, Nochi Krohn, Shlomo Katz, Menachem Weinstein, Aaron Holder and more.

My whole life, I was obsessed with Moshe Yess’ music, he gave over his messages through his music in such an incredible way I don’t believe any musician in the Jewish world ever did… Towards Gimmel Tammuz time he conveyed his belief in the Rebbe through his songs like ‘Nachshon’ even though people may not accept his view (this is possibly why some people werent obsessed with him), you can see through his songs the strength in his belief which taught me a lot, I have some of his oldest music, you can see actually over the course of his… Read more »
A beautiful tribute to a legacy in Jewish music
THE PICTURE OF THE REBBE
in backround of Shlomo Katz?!?!?
He was a talented singer but it seems to me that all the glorification only after his demise “Acharei mois Kedoshim Tihiu”.
i hope his family is benefitting financially from this.its only fair
Where was everyone while he was still alive???
The guy did not have Parnasa, and could not get into any concerts…..
don’t know who is singing my zaidy at the end of the video, great voice, but they should have left the original moshe yess audio for that song, that song epitomizes moshe yess and no singer can even get into the ballpark of the way he sang that song
Does anyone know what the song “Anabelle” was based off of? I never understood it.
thanks.
a big fan
I will scrape my last pennies together to get my hands on this tribute. A giant of a man. Unfortunately for we the fans, G-d willed it that the vast majority of his performances were not recorded and therefore lost. As for future generations, it rests upon those of us who can convey our experiences of Reb Mosh, his music and his message, to the next generation.
