I can’t figure out how people are frum without chassidus. I was taught that way (without it) in my day school. B”H started learning Chassidus in time.

Who knew this would become a question, a debate.
Rabbi Friedman has been Shtureming about this for years now and from the video I see why! Does Hashem need our Mitzvahs? Is that a question in anyone’s mind? Could it be that people actually think there is no way to serve Hashem, it’s only really about us and our perfection?

There it explains the seeming contradictions in Chazal and how it depends what level you are talking about – but ulimately Torah and Mitvos are nogeah to Hashem B’Etzem.
