We teach our children as youngsters not to hit back not to fight back ..to tell someone…we are trained that way. Where I teach in the “hood” my students are taught from an early age that if someone messes with you ..beat their ——. Different cultures..which one is right/ My heart goes out to those men …but we don’t fight back we don’t shoot and kill people…as little kids we teach don’t hit…but look what happens…so sad and no answers.

One cannot and should absolutely never use the holocaust as some cheap tearjerker. If anything, “never again” should be directed at Jewish people being the victim! To reiterate what a few others have said: The Holocaust did not begin with crematoria in Auschwitz. It ended there. It started with snowballs, mud-slinging, window-smashing, ridiculing. And it happened to a generation of Jewish people who refused to compare a little Nazi snowball to a Roman siege.
