Heichal Limud Anshei Moshe, the new study center in Crown Heights, is launching a new “chavrusa” initiative to pair bochurim with residents that are interested in learning.
Every married and working man that signs up in advance will be matched with a bochur from the central Tomchei Tmimim Yeshiva in 770 for joint learning.
Located at 1334 Lincoln Place, in the basement of the home of Rabbi Menachem Mendel and Faigy Yusewitz, the center served as a nightly Beis Medrash.
The Thursday chavrusa learning is scheduled for 9:00 to 10:00 PM, followed by Maariv. Residents are welcome to chose the topic or sefer.
Other programs include a “Father and Son” session every Motzoei Shabbos from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. A shiur in the laws of Chanukah will be given in the next two weeks.
Heichal Limud Anshei Moshe is named after Yusewitz’s grandfather, Rabbi Moshe Rubin OBM, who served for over 40 years as a shochet and a beloved mashpia in Montreal and was known for his hearty farbrengens and niggunim.
