Fifth grade boys from Cheder Lubavitch Chicago cultivated their artistic talents, helping to plan and create a series of mosaics with Jewish themes.
The boys themselves created a mosaic of the Beis Hamikdosh, under the instruction of Mrs. Chaya Sara Gurewicz.
Showing off their handiwork, Mrs. Gurewicz was proud of their accomplishments. “There are no limitations in expressions of true yidishkeit,” she said. “In shul, at home, and at school we express our deep connection through thought, speech and action. Adding learning through art enhances Simcha in Avodas Hashem and learning, and the more joy they have in their learning, the luckier we all are.”
