Of course we all say the words “boruch dayn emes”, but I believe strongly that it is the living that actually has more issues than the souls that have already done their mission. I just want to give a brocha to the both of you and all your family, and especially your children that will continue to fulfill the acts of goodness and kindness, just like our beloved Rebbe that was always the perfect example. Your old school friend Yossi Pekkar (Cozumel Mexico)
Yep that’s him. Baruch Dayan Haemes
So sorry to hear this- She and her husband hosted us for a meal in Tzfat and treated us so special!

Zalman, we are so sorry to hear of your loss, we have some very good memories of Shabossim in your home. Chana, was warm and fine, organized with a smile always on her face. Her food was exceptional and all felt welcomed in her home. May she be a melitz yosher for her family and may the family have a nechama. So sorry to hear of her loss!
My heart breaks, the world lost an extremely special woman. My prayers are with her family and especially her husband, I know she meant the world to him!
What a special mother and wife she was I remember some 40 years ago when Reb Zalmen started the children’s program called hamaorer how she made sure we boys were always happy and all the other things she was involved in all for the children What a great Mama legacy and Ahaves Yisroel she leaves for all of us to copy may she rest in peace.ת.נ.צ.ב.ה. Chana was a warm and caring person, filled with life and good energy. It was always a pleasure to spend time with her, she will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
BD”E. Mrs. Tornek was a very special person. Years ago she hosted a weekly Parsha Shiur in her house in Denver. Three weeks ago, her husband organized a farbrengen in Tzfat in her zchus. The whole family is special.
Chana was such a regal woman. I only knew her after her stroke but she always welcomed me into her home with open arms. I loved her like a grandmother. Shabbos with her and Zalman was always a special treat. I shall miss her dearly.
