Running for the Friendship Circle

Dana Ginsburg, of Potomac, MD, plans to run her second marathon for a charitable organization this fall in the NYC Marathon.

Ginsburg last year ran in the 2011 Miami Marathon, in memory of her friend, Maryland Shlucha Mrs. Zlata Geisinsky obm, who passed away in June of 2010.

This time, she will run to raise awareness and funds for the Friendship Circle, as part of Chabad’s Team Friendship in the NYC Marathon on November 6th, 2011.

“My experience running the Miami Marathon was incredible and in some ways, despite it being over for almost 4 months, I am still on my runner’s high from running the 26.2 miles,” Ginsburg writes on her blog. “After the race, I was not quite sure I would ever want to run another marathon. However, this changed when we were invited to attend the a local Friendship Circle Carnival at the end of March.”
