On Thursday, January 21, at 6pm, there will be a free informational seminar about the co-op development of 320 Sterling Street.
The event will discuss the application process, layout, eligibility, and the responsibilities of Co-op owners.
Applications for the one-bedroom apartments are currently available for prospective buyers interested in cooperative building located in Crown Heights.
50 apartments within the 106-unit building will be set aside for purchase once renovations are completed by Spring/Summer of 2010.
Preferences for 50% of the units will be given to residents of Community Board 9 (largely Crown Heights).
Purchase price subsidies available to those who meet the income guidelines. Estimated monthly maintenance fee is $600.

Be careful what you buy. In a co-op the rules of the game are completely different than owning your own house and also differ from a condominium. In a co-op you can’t just buy 2 units and break a wall and viola 1 large apartment. It doesn’t work that way.
