Be careful what you buy. In a co-op the rules of the game are completely different than owning your own house and also differ from a condominium. In a co-op you can’t just buy 2 units and break a wall and viola 1 large apartment. It doesn’t work that way. You’ll first need approval from the board before you can even entertain the thought of combining the 2 apartments int one. The point is in a co-op you need board approval for eveything. if the price is right what about buying 2 units and then combining them then u can have a 3 plus room with 2 bathrooms ect.
