Last Motzei Shabbos a Kinus Hisorerus was held for women in Los Angeles in memory of Rebbetzin Sara Rochel Schochet OBM, who passed away a few weeks ago. Her daughter, Mrs. Hadassa Spalter, spoke movingly about her mother. Video

Hadassah and Menucha both spoke in a most inspirational way, leaving us all such Chizuk through stories of Rebbetzin Schochet ………!!!! May.May we all be lead to the Geula this month……………. !!!!!

I think abou the Rosh everyday and hope is doing well. It was beautiful and heartwrenching to hear Hadassha speak.
MOst beautiful was the Achdus with the community coming together like that.

You spoke so eloquently, your mother ob”m, I am sure is proud! My mother mentioned to me that when my twin bros. were born, your mother would give her practical advice on how to “deal” w/ newborn twins….she also gave her some baby boy clothing that your bros. out-grew… A cute little memory that I also remember is,once when I came to your house as a kid on Shabbos to eat…She introduced me to the ‘idea’ of always adding finely chopped pickles to a fresh tossed vegtable salad…Only many years later (living here in Israel & being married to an… Read more »

I took off all the mezuzot from the rooms where I thought they should not be on.

I wish I would have known this before, it turns out I only need one mezuzah on one door post in the whole house!

so what if it was her nephew she would have done the same for anyone else and i know cause she was my teacher and she was just caring and kind and she loved everyone equally to her a jew was a jew nothing stood in the way
