Its not just your feeling, its against halacha to release a prisoner for hostages… you are only allowed to release if it is for money… then you pay whatever they ask for, but when they start asking for terrorists it is AGAINST HALACHA

What happened after the Lebanon War (2) when I thought they released Arab prisoners for Shalit and then he wasn’t released. Why were they released?

It’s unbearable to have a Yid suffer, but I’m sorry, freeing thousands of terrorists in exchange is just inviting more kidnappings and killings (ch”v).
Israel must either attempt a rescue, or destroy hamas until they relent (which would never happen b/c of fear of int’l pressure).
