I had occasion to meet this past week with a musmach of Chaim Berlin. He credits his migration to Yiddishkeit to his attendance at released time for several years. His parents were not at all observant, but went out to buy a mezuzah when the released time bochur said that he was coming to visit. His parents were also very moved by the bochur’s walking all the way from CH to Bensonhust to attend the boy’s bar mitzvah at a local shul. the parents never went to shul, but felt that he must have a bar mitzvah. to make a… Read more »
