On Motzai Shabbos parshas Terumah a large crowd gathered at K’hal Tzemach Tzedek Lubavitch of Monsey for the unveiling of an original 10′ x 18’ mural that artist Michoel Muchnik created specifically for the lobby of the Shul. This most beautiful piece of art is part of the Shul’s newly installed Building Fund Wall of Honor.
The mural, Jerusalem Flow and Flourish, will be appreciated most in person and all are invited to visit the shul at 2 Langeries Drive in Monsey.
Following the unveiling was Art & Soul, an elegant wine and cheese art exhibition displaying the many works of world renowned Chassidic artist Michoel Muchnik.
All proceeds from the art sales benefited the great outreach work of Rabbi Dov and Shevy Oliver at SUNY Rockland Community College.
Now I understand why we did not have Reb Michoel with us in Reb Getzels Shul for Shabbes.
