With Camp Gan Israel of Florida nearly ending, and after a full-day grand trip, campers were beginning to come down with the ‘I miss camp blues.’
The antidote? A surprise concert with the hit band “8th Day.”
With the gym set up concert-style, brothers Shmuly and Bentzy Marcus got the crowd jumping, singing and dancing as only they can.
Joined by learning teacher Shmuly Wischansky on the keyboard, they sang a mix of Chabad niggunim, 8th Day hits and camp songs. Their performance left the crowd in smiles, yearning for more.
A big Yasher koach to 8th Day for coming and sharing their talent and spirit with the campers of CGI Florida, certainly an event that will forever be remembered by the campers for years to come.
A special thank you to Reb Yossi Duchman of Miami, FL for making the event possible.
