The Shluchim Office is pleased to announce the opening of a new 4-year old Gan class at the Shluchim Online School.
Students have joined from all over the world including Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, Germany, Canada, Venezuela, the USA and even Australia.
Currently, there are over 35 students attending the Americas Division and over 35 students attending the Hebrew Speaking Division.
Four different classes take place throughout the day, to accommodate the various time zones. The first class, at 12:30 PM EST serves students in the European time zone. Additionally, classes at 3:00 & 4:00 PM are scheduled for students throughout the continental USA and a 5:30 PM class was arranged for three 4-year olds all the way in Brisbane, Australia.
We’d like to express our thanks to Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld, principal of the Shluchim Online School and Morah Blotner, our Gan teacher, for doing a wonderful job.
The Shluchim Online School is made possible through the efforts of its devoted staff: Rabbi Moshe Shemtov, Mrs. Gitty Rosenfeld, Rabbi Pinchus Rappaport, Rabbi Yossi Goodman, Ms. Chana Poltrack and Mrs. Chavi Kastel.

Sounds wonderful. how much is this class?
the kids wish they can be part of it- but tiution was a little less than $4000 for the year, this past year for other grades. that is just for 2 and a half hours a day, 4 days a week.
i wonder why its more than a regular brick and mortar school even after all those sponsors? we can not afford it.
can local kids sign on to this online school?
i am a crown heights resident. i have two daughters teaching in this online school. i must say, it is an amazing concept! our shluchims children are learning so much in this unbeleivable manner. anyone who says anything against this school is absolutley jealous!!!! may we continue to be michanech our shluchims children with this technology, and just you all wait to see what unbeleivable students will turn out from this school! the rebbe is having alot of nachas! keep up the good work.
Hi All, First of all I must say that I was a little skeptical on the first day when I saw how the online school software works and how the kids have to learn to use the mouse and keyboard etc. But after a week they are so clued in its actually scary… Thanks to the Shluchim Office and Morah Blotner my 4 yr old twin boys have a lesson four days a week Tue-Fri 7:15-8AM each week. They love it, they look forward to it, they are engaged in it, they have learned so much about Shavuos etc. that… Read more »

Dear Morah Bluma ,it is a good thing that you are a teacher online. I saw you on COLlive on the computer with a Blotnor boy on the computer working on the computer. I think that it is good idea to keep going on with it the online school. if someone says that just send the kids to a school just say no because it’s easier for there parents.

– g5 student!
man oh man I can’t believe I live in a community with such losers. You guys are just plain old jealous that there are around 75 four years olds that are more technologically advanced then you idiots, your extent of computer knowledge is posting a comment on COLlive! The kids love the Gan, it is one of the most awesome things the Shuchim Office has ever done….. Keep it up!
its just like a regular kindergarden, but online
My granddaughter, in the middle of nowhere, loves her online class!
#3, you haven’t a clue. There is no Jewish school past pre school in the whole of the country where my children are on Shlichus. You can afford to be self-righteous when your children have access to everything & your daughter doesn’t need a passport to go buy milk!
To the Shluchim office and its staff, THANK YOU!
My child is in the 4 yr old class, Morah Blotner, and he looks forward to it each day.
its the ONLy jewish school in this city.
Many of you may not know, but many CH’s are in cities with NO schools…
TY Shluchim Office for making this happen!
I went to online school last year, and it did not work for me. I think it is a very good school (but it just didnt work out for me) and Mrs. Rosenfeld and every other teacher on the staff works very hard to teach their students. (its really hard to teach online) Personally, i would NOT send my child/ren to a public school, rather to online school. I think people should be careful with what they say about online school

LOL
love y
Online School is very worthwhile for the many shluchim who do not have chinuch by them. Think before you speak….
An online school student
Most of you probably do not even know what shlichus entails. You are sitting in the comforts of crown heights while we’re doing the rebbes work and if you have ANYTHING that is not nice to say keep it in your big mouth 🙂
G7 is on strike 😛
lol
Go online school!
think before you post a comment!
shluchim need online school for their children!!
To Mrs. Rosenfeld, Yossi Goodman, Gillie Resnick and to all the great shluchim office staff and teachers
Thank you for all the great work that you do! keep it up
G7 ROX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATTENTION BORED TEENAGER STOP POSTING SILLY COMMENTS!! IT’S RUDE AND ANNOYING IN SO MANY WAYS!!
just becuase we are on shlichus does not mean we have to give up chinuch. chinuch is very important and by going to regular schools we wont be able to know anything when we get older and have to go to high school well be lost or when we get older how are we suppsoed to know anything if we go to a regular school when were teenagers on a 3rd grade level
take it from someone who had alot of catching up to do
Your coment touches a raw nerve. I don’t know if you are a Shliach or not but if you are not then you don’t have the right to say such a comment. Yes, Shluchim’s kids are definetly a huge part of the shlichus and it is importand that they interact with other children because it does have a great impact. Yet, it is crucial for them to know we are not them, we don’t atend a cohead school, we are special, we belong to a worldwide campaighn and that we are not alone… I personally know Shluchim’s kid’s who were… Read more »
Don’t forget (or if you didn’t know yet, here you go..), many Shluchim are opening up schools, and apparently you haven’t looked very deeply into the online school. the online school is there for the shluchim that are far and lacking a good chinuch for their children, many live in a place with no jewish school at all and to few jewish kids to make their own.. and even if they are sending their children to regular school, they might want them to have more hours hours of serious learning. Shluchims kids still need a good chinuch even though they… Read more »
Online School Is a Wonderful School! Go Morah Mushka Zaklos!
Poltorak (you misspelled her name) is great!
Four year olds are just fine on the computer, they know how to get on class, and they are particapating beautifully!!
Blotner is a great teacher!!!
My sister Rivkale loves her so much!!!!
If local day schools were available in my area, our children would gladly be attending.
obviously the only schools available are the reform ones that our kids are not attending!!
does that answer your question?
What has shlichus turned in to? It is a wonderful initiative for shluchim’s kids in timbuktu or nepal but what happened to the last generation of shluchim’s kids who didn’t have iskafya rather were shluchim in the spirit of ishapcha – ker a velt haynt! We may be teaching our children al taharas hakoidesh even in the furthest vinkel but this misses the point of shlichus completely by teaching our children to live apart away from di goyim. How many families are frum/anash today because of shluchims children attending local frum day schools and inviting them to their homes for… Read more »
How can a four year old learn online?! Maybe as a last resort – is this a new program? Has it been succesful? Educators . . . share your thoughts . . .
Morah Blotner you are an amazing teacher.
