KYY Purim Extravaganza #22 took center stage, hosted graciously by Television City (TVC), also known as CBS Television City, a 25-acre studio complex in Los Angeles, California.
The annual event was organized by Kol Yakov Yehuda (KYY) – The Rebbe’s Diamond Daveners, a minyan for kids and by kids.
With a staggering attendance of 600 enthusiastic participants, it unfolded into an unforgettable evening filled with entertainment, tradition, and unity. Attendees recited the 12 pesukim and heartfelt teffilos for Eretz Yisroel.
Setting the stage for a grand entrance, the crowd was treated to a majestic introduction by none other than the USC Marching Band, whose energetic performance infused the atmosphere with an electric fervor. KYY founder and director Rabbi Mendel Duchman ran his famous red carpet masquerade, a beloved tradition.
The event unfolded into a display of skill and athleticism, featuring the thrilling California BMX show and a jaw-dropping performance by a slam dunk team, captivating the audience with their daring dunks.
As the night progressed, anticipation reached a fever pitch for the grand finale, which showcased a mesmerizing display by a stunt team from XPogos, including the esteemed Guinness World Record Holder in multiple events. From gravity-defying stunts to adrenaline-pumping maneuvers, each moment left the audience on the edge of their seats, spellbound by the sheer talent and audacity on display.
The KYY Purim Extravaganza #22 wasn’t merely an event; it was a celebration of community and unzere kinder, organizers said.
The event was meticulously produced and led by Rabbi Dovber and Srula Chaiton, newly appointed shluchim to the state of California and will serve at Congregation Levi Yitzchok, under the leadership of Rabbi Yisroel Noach Raichik. A special Yasher Koach to Rabbi Shlomo Cunin and Rabbi Yossi Cunin in approving and appointing this Shlichus.
