Family and friends of Rabbi Shimmy Weinbaum, the beloved leader of Tzivos Hashem, surprised him with a Farbrengen to celebrate his 50th birthday on 5 Tammuz, Thursday evening, at the Jewish Children’s Museum in Crown Heights.
“Shimmy” as he is known to all as the ‘General’ of Tzivos Hashem, leads the Tzivos Hashem program with great devotion, as well as the annual International Chidon Sefer Hamitzvos for boys and girls.
Wishing Shimmy a Mazal Tov and L’Chaim were Mashpiim Rabbi Sholom Charitonow and Rabbi Arik Raskin, Rabbi Moshe Pinson of Bais Shmuel Chabad, Rabbi Dovid Sholom Pape and Rabbi Shalom Ber Baumgarten of Tzivos Hashem, R’ Asher Vorst, Rabbi Mendel Mintz and many others.
Guests wished R’ Shimmy much strength to continue his Shlichus of inspiring and educating children around the world through the many programs under his direction.
