Rabbi Yehuda Krinsky, the Rebbe’s mazkir and a key figure in the “Seforim Case,” was the guest speaker at a Hei Teves Farbrengen in Montreal.
Surrounded this past Thursday by bochurim in the zal of the Chabad Yeshiva Gedolah in Montreal, he spoke about the trial 25 years ago and why the Rebbe cared so much about the library and its rare books and manuscripts.
The farbrengen began at 8 PM and continued until 11:45 PM without interruptions, with bochurim asking him questions about the case to which he answered in a warm and receptive way.
In addition to the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Leibel Kaplan, Rosh Mesivta Rabbi Pesach Sperlin and the staff, some members of the Chabad community joined as well.

I believe my childhood friend from Lefferts was involved.
In your own quiet way you make things happen.
They have the greatest Hanholo (Rabbi Mordechai Wenger, Rabbi Itche Meir Gurary, Rabbi Moshe Stern etc.), a Yeshiva like no other in Lubavitch that instills a deep sense of Chasidishkeit in it’s Bochurim.

My son who is 17 years old was inspired.
To keep a room of teenagers quiet for at least 10 minutes is award-winning… You have them holding on to your every word for three hours ….now that’s impressive!
Great job! My nephew called with so much excitement… He couldn’t believe he was sitting across the table with someone who had such close contact with th Rebbe.
Thank you Rabbi Krinsky! And to all those who organized the event

Rabbi kaplan you are the best!
it looks like it was arranged for the zal and mesivta.
I was recently in Montreal for a wedding… I had several hours to burn so I walked into the yeshiva building…. the boys were sitting and learning no joke… Nobody was hanging out in the hallways or in front of the building..
I have a feeling that C.L the greatest ambassador the Yeshiva everhad to do with this…. He’s always talking up the Yeshiva! I know as a longtime friend I know you like to stay behind the scenes I hope you be too upset with me for recognizing your dedication and hard work.
Great to see u guys keeping well
Rabbi Krinsky showed an interest to every child in that room it was truly exceptional… He answered every child’s question no matter the age or the question he made every child feel that their question is valued. Thanks Rabbi Kaplan
