On Sunday night, approximately 10:45 PM, 3 teenagers were breaking into several cars near Carroll Street and Schenectady Avenue.
The owner of one of the vehicles was inside his car as they broke in. Thankfully he wasn’t hurt and the suspects fled.
He immediately called Crown Heights Shmira, who quickly located the group and watched them until the police arrived.
All 3 perpetrators were arrested, and one of them had an outstanding warrant as well.
Shmira would like to thank the 71st Precinct for their quick response, and remember, don’t hesitate to call CH Shmira at 718-221-0303, and 911.
The cops don’t know the streets and places that need to be more patrold like shmira does.
Good job shmira, u guys are on a roll!!
Thank you Shmira and Shomrim for doing us all a great favor. We know that without you the cops don’t do a thing (besides giving tickets and patrolling around Dunkin Donuts).
You are correct regarding police patrolling the neighborhood.
That is EXACTLY the reason why Shmira exists and BH they do a very good job. No need to denounce
we need Police to patrol the neighborhood ….with all respect to shmira and shomrim ….
