The Chabad Center in Yorba Linda, California, and Congregation Beth Meir HaCohen hosted a gala dinner to celebrate the completion of its magnificent campus, considered the “most beautiful Shul in Orange County.”
The donors were thanked for their generosity, each received a copy of the stunning photograph “Celebration of Life” by local artist Cliff Lester of Chassidim dancing at the Chabad Telethon.
Honored at the Dinner was Sy Cohen, founder of the Chabad Center.
The dinner began with a reception, then a program in the social hall. Rabbi Levi Blesofsky read a letter from the Rebbe which was sent 21 years ago when the campus was first purchased.
The video was shown and Rabbi Dovid Eliezrie spoke about the theme of the letter. Afterwards there was a Banquet and entertainment on the Eisen Promenade outside.
