On Sunday, Lubavitch of Indiana, directed by Rabbi and Mrs. Avrohom Grossbaum, broke ground for a brand new $2.5 million, 13,000 square foot state-of-the-art Chabad Center for Jewish Life, in Carmel, IN.
The new facility will have a Shul, social hall, kitchen, classrooms and offices.
Friends, supporters, Shluchim and Mayor Jim Brainard were all on hand for this historic event, which also included a family fun day.
In honor of the occasion, the Mayor declared June 16, 2013, as Chabad-Lubavitch Day.
