A 13 year old boy was assaulted and injured on Sunday afternoon in Crown Heights.
The incident occurred in Lefferts Park and began when the boy’s scooter was stolen. After he managed to retrieve it, he was confronted and punched repeatedly.
The boy was treated by Hatzalah, and the NYPD took a report. Shmira is actively helping with the investigation.
Please be aware of your surroundings. In case of an emergency, call 911 and Shmira 24/7 at 718-221-0303.
Its becoming scary to walk in the streets even during the day
TOTALLY AGREE,
100 PERCENT CORRECT,
100 PERCENT TRUE !!!!!!!!
We need to restore safety to the Rebbe’s Schuna!
Any ideas?
Good quality video cameras
How is that helpful? You think cameras are gonna stop animals from beating up 13 year old kids??? Where is you sense????
You can identify them and charge their parents
If you don’t have a better idea my father told me to be quiet instead of criticizing. Video cameras everywhere will help catch these animals so they don’t do it again. Not rocket science genius.
Vote properly my fellow citizens !! If god forbid Harris wins more criminals and thief’s will overtake your communities .its kind of wake up call for us ..
Please supervise your children in the park or at least make sure there is a parent there responsible, it’s hefker for all
I’m not talking about what happened here , I don’t know the details .
but I see it often , that our neighbors say extremely derogatory things at our kids !
When the adults support such behavior what u can expect? It’s comes from their homes. Punish the criminal and heavy fine the parents if no money put all in jail.
Insane! For this we pay 1.5 M for a house ??
Time to put up cameras in and around the park.
It might not stop every attack but they will certainly think twice before stealing or hitting.
Yes, the laws need to be more strict, but until then, at least we can have them arrested and booked.
That’s where the security should be driving around, not only on Kingston Ave.
They bullied my son and ran away with his scooter ! We called shmira and the police , the scooter wasn’t found never .
