The greatest Mitzvah Tank parade in history, is to take place this Yud Alef Nissan, with 120 Tanks to celebrate the Rebbe’s 120th birthday.
As Chassidim we present our Rebbe with many gifts, one which stands out, is the Mitzva Tank Parade which conquers NYC, spreading the Mitzvos of Pesach to all, on the Rebbe’s birthday each year.
Every year, the highlight of Yud Alef Nissan is the grand parade. At each milestone year, such as the Rebbe’s 80th, 90th and 100th birthdays, the parade included a corresponding number of tanks.
This year, Yud Alef Nissan, will be the Rebbe’s 120th birthday. In honor of the day, the parade will not only include 120 tanks – the largest amount to date, but the entire parade is being completely revamped, with a brand new design, screen trucks and a major focus on social media and news outlets as well as many more grand ideas.
Aside from putting on Tefillin with thousands of people, and distributing hundreds of pounds of Matzah, the Mitzvah Tank Parade will bring the Rebbe’s message to an unprecedented amount of New Yorkers.
The parade will be leaving from Kingston and President Street and pass a Mega Tzivos Hashem rally which will take place in front of 770 that day.
The parade is being organized by the Mitzvah Tank office under the auspices of Tzach and a dedicated group of Bochurim from 770.
The MTO would like to thank the NYPD, and the 71st Precinct for making this year’s parade possible.
The organizers hope that this parade will end this Golus and March towards the Geulah Ha’amitis V’hashleima, with the Rebbe leading the way!
