There are enough wealthy people in CH besides Yingy whose own family use the Mikvah, and do not help refurbish it and definitly won’t build outside ones . Why should it all be on Yingy? (I think the Rebbe once told Gutnic G-D gave it to you, and you can give it to who you want to). Yingy does more then anyone in this community and beyond including saving lives (Head of Hatzola) and getting innocents out of jail 365, 24/7 including some put in by their own mikvah using crazies!
Gorgeous!!!!!! — #10 Its not easy for shluchim. My parents have been on shlichus for over 30some years. All those yrs ago we built a mikva with plenty mesiras nefesh, and the money didnt come from crown heights… if you want a nice mikva get up and build it.

coming from out of town I have used the CH Mikvah quite a few times. Funny, I NEVER felt like it was second class, never thought it lacked ANYTHING! Do we need all the fancy plants & xtras to make our Mikvah night special?!?!? I absolutely LOVE this Mikvah in Colorado – it’s gorgeous & a great Kiddush Hashem – out of town we do need the xtras – you know what it’s like to convince a woman to please – just come and see the Mikvah – it’s not what you think…. i think its crazy and embarrassing that the wealthy ppl that live in ch cant put some money together to build a nice mikvah for the community! it is truly shameful!!!
face it – in CH, the men are more important than the women! (maybe not just in CH) (and save me the speeches, we know what the real attitudes are!!)
If the men want real shalom bayis, they ought to build a couple nice women’s mikvaos!!

It is beautiful to see all the very nice ladies mikvah’s being built everywhere. But why can’t we have a nice mikvah in Crown Heights? Why don’t we have a nice Mikvah? are we any less important then those living out of town? is it fair that shluchim come to CH and take money out of the neighborhood to build Mikvah’s? A beutifull mikvah built with great effort and thought as can be seen an example of Lchatchilah Ariber and what can be achieved with dedication hatzlocha rabboh Rabbi and Rebetzen Liberow . On to the next project.
