Reb Benzion (Benci) Freundlich, a beloved father and businessman from Boca Raton, FL, passed away on Thursday, 8 Tishrei, 5785.
He was 49.
Benci grew up in Stamford Hill, London and had the zechus to be the first person in England to be named for the esteemed and special Chossid Reb Bentzion Shemtov O”H.
He later moved to New York and more recently to Boca Raton, Florida.
Benci studied in Yeshiva in Montreal and received his Smicha from Harav Yeruslavsky. As a bochur he went on shlichus to both Russia and Hong Kong.
Benci was passionate, with a big heart and energetic. His intense love and energy guided his life.
For many years Benci used his sweet voice to lead the community as Chazzan for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur at Chabad of Markham, Toronto, Canada.
His untimely passing leaves a great void among his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents Reb Yoel and Miriam Freundlich, his children and siblings.
The Levaya will take place Sunday October 13th, 1:00 PM at Montefiore Cemetery, 121-83 Springfield Blvd, Springfield Gardens, NY 11413
