Bochurim Show True Ahavas Yisroel at Protest

A group of Chabad Bochurim headed out to a pro-Palestinian protest in Manhattan on Monday, looking for fellow Jews to help put on Tefillin.

Bochurim Mendel Biton, Zushi Borenstein, Binyomin Wolowik, Muli Rabinowitz, Levi Liberow, Mottel Kozliner and Zalman Kozliner were unfazed by the antisemitic chants of the protesters, and used the opportunity to add light to the world, finding Jewish men and offering them a chance to don Tefillin in memory of the victims of the October 7 attacks.

They even found one pro-Palestinian protester who agreed to put on Tefillin, even while marching, proudly wearing them and reciting the bracha in full view of the crowd.

Many counter-protesters who were there in support of Israel remarked that with antisemitism on the rise, and the horrific attacks by Hamas on October 7, 2023, they were grateful for the opportunity to respond by proudly donning Tefillin.
