Rabbi Uziel Weinstein will be joining the Tiferes Bachurim staff this coming year.
Rabbi Weinstein will be giving shiurim, learning and working with both beginner and advanced students. He will also be directing the Tiferes Smicha program which will be following the highly acclaimed curriculum from L’maan Yilmedu.
He will be joining Tiferes’s special team of hanhola – Rabbis Brafman, Dubinsky, Faiden, Hecht, Mishulovin and Wagner as we constantly strive to offer each talmid individualized attention for all their needs – b’gashmiyus ub’ruchniyus. “Our aim is always to ensure that each talmid has all the resources necessary to be a chosid, yerei shomayim and lamdan,” says Rabbi Yaakov Wagner, the menahel of the yeshiva.
Another program that Tiferes plans to reignite next year is the alumni mentorship initiative. To better prepare talmidim for being a chosid outside the four walls of yeshiva, Tiferes alumni will spend time in yeshiva answering questions and helping guide students how to pursue fields that they specialize in. Alumni in the fields of mental health, law, finance and education have committed to spend time in yeshiva addressing student’s questions about these fields, and guiding them how to take their learning and knowledge with them when they leave yeshiva.
Efforts are underway to bezh arrange a therapist who will devote some hours to speak with talmidim to better address their mental health needs. In addition to this mashpi’im and educators will bezh make monthly visits to yeshiva to teach and talk to bochurim.
We also have been able to build some new scholarships for students who need financial assistance to join yeshiva. These scholarships will be earned by the talmidim who need, through diligence in learning and participation in yeshiva’s seder.
In additional exciting news, bezh Tiferes will be moving this year! We will be going up, as early as this fall, to the third floor, formerly occupied by Tomchei Temimim. This move will bezh afford us more space for our various programming. Some of the things we hope to put into the new space; a freshly renovated zahl with a bright modern feel; a multipurpose room for shiurim and farbrengens; a meeting room for private audiences with hanhola; a computer station with cubicles for remote schooling and work; a library large enough for our growing collection of seforim; a lounge for reading and relaxing; a game room; and bezh much more!
These are some of the exciting updates for this coming year, with more to come bezh.

Rabbi Uziel Weinstein is the best! Tiferes is very lucky to get him!
