Hi Boys and Girls! Welcome back to the Parsha Studio!
In this week’s Parsha, Hashem counts the Jewish people. One may wonder why Hashem, who knows everything, would need to physically count them. However, just like a person who treasures their Lego set would keep counting them repeatedly, even though they know exactly how many pieces are there, Hashem counts the Jewish people because He loves and values each and every one of them. By counting them, Hashem shows us that every individual person is important and precious to Him.
Today, after we bake some cookies, we will shape them into numbers, layer them with frosting in between, and then decorate them with your favorite color of frosting and kind of sprinkles! You should be super excited because these cookies will be delicious and like nothing you’ve tasted before!
