Now, too, people come to the Tziyun of the Mitteler Rebbe
It is known that wondrous things concerning Brochas for children from the Rebbe on Lag BaOmer. Couples would wait for the Rebbe near his house on Lag BaOmer for these Brochas.
Now, too, people come to pray for the Brocha of children at the Mitteler Rebbe’s Tziyun in Nyzhin. Miracles have resulted.
The Rebbe writes in Hayom Yom for the 18th of Iyar:
Lag Ba’Omer was one of the Mitteler Rebbe’s particularly noteworthy festivals. He and the Chassidim would go out to the fields that day, and although he did not wash and break bread, he did partake of mashkeh (strong drink), which he was not allowed to do for health reasons. Many wonders were seen at that time, most of them involving the blessing of children for childless couples – and all year long people waited for Lag Ba’Omer.
This year because of the situation in the Ukraine, it is very difficult to travel to the Mitteler Rebbe’s Tziyun. However, if you’d like to merit the special Lag BaOmer Brochas, you can contribute to the activities of the Jewish Kiev community and special Shluchim will go to beseech for those Brochas in Nyezhin on Lag BaOmer.
