Crews were seen this morning clearing out the building recently purchased by Empire Shtiebel.
This will I”yh make way for the future expansion of the Shul and Mikvah premises.
Empire Shtiebel, one of the oldest shul’s in Crown Heights, has daily minyanim from 6am through the whole morning with at least 8 minyanim Shachris daily, as well as multiple minyonim for Mincha and Marriv. In addition, there are several ongoing shiurim during the week and Shabbos.
I lived in CH, moved away in 1980. It is so wonderful to see that the shchuhah has grown so much! I davened a number of times in Empire Shtiebel. A small space for mostly not Chabad yidden who hadn’t yet run from the neighborhood. At that time, most of Chabad davened in 770. Not anymore!
