We signed our son up for Your Torah Tutors, when we moved to another country and thought it would be a great way to enhance his skills while he settled into a new school. We are so impressed with the program. It is cleverly designed to engage the student’s memory with pictures that helps solidify the words so that they can be recognized and used in various ways.
The student gains the confidence to open a Sefer learn and decode the words on his own. The teacher keeps the lessons interesting, and the 30 minutes of class time is totally doable. The program is great for boys that are getting ready for Mesivtah as it can ensure that all the necessary Chumash and Gemara words are known.
Our son has shown increased confidence in delving into Rashi texts both in Chumash and Gemara on his own.
We are looking forward to his completing this part of the program so we can start the Yiddish program as well!

Your Torah Tutors has a team of tutors that can teach students Chumash and Gemara by using a technique that is fun and interactive utilizing original flash cards via zoom. Through this method, the trained tutor is able to teach almost any student how to learn Chumash or Gemara on their own within 6-8 months on average. Each session is around 30 minutes.
This program works best for students ages 8 and up, and they have a boys and girls division.
