Bais Shmuel Chabad of Crown Heights presents “Saluting a Chayal in Gaza,” The story of a young man who put everything on hold for the land of Israel and its people, at the Jewish Children's Museum.
Raised in Jerusalem in a family of Shluchim, Mendel attended Chabad Yeshivos and then joined the Hesder Yeshiva of Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz, where army service is combined with Torah study. In his civilian life, Mendel works at the Jerusalem investment firm Exigent as a financial analyst.
