R’ Netanel Yeroshalmi, OBM

R’ Netanel Yeroshalmi, a beloved father and grandfather from Crown Heights, passed away on Friday, 4 Kislev, 5784.

Born in Iran, he moved to New York later in life.

He built a beautiful Chabad family filled with Torah, Mitzvos, and the Rebbe’s teachings.

As a father, he had mesiras nefesh to send his sons at the ages of 13-15 by themselves to flee Iran and move to New York to be near the Rebbe.

He is survived by his children, Esther Hirschowitz – Sydney, Australia, Dr. Reuben Yeroshalmi – NYC, Nechemia Yeroshalmi – Los Angeles, and Dr. Nissan Yeroshalmi – NYC.

The levaya will take place today, Friday, passing by 770 at 10:30 am.
