An Farbrengen marking the Shloshim – 30 days since the passing of Rabbi Meir Harlig OBM was held on Tuesday, 29 Tammuz – eve of Rosh Chodesh Av, in the upstairs Zal of 770 Eastern Parkway.
Rabbi Harlig, a devoted Chosid and Mashbak of the Rebbe, passed away on the eve of Rosh Chodesh Tammuz this year.
The Shloshim gathering and Siyum Mishnayos was held Tuesday, in the small Zal of 770 upstairs.
R’ Meir’s family and friends shared memories of Rabbi Harlig’s devotion to the Rebbe and his work in 770. Speakers included his children Rabbi Sholom Ber Harlig, Rabbi Shea Harlig, Rabbi Yossi Harlig, and Rabbi Mendy Harlig, his grandchildren, as well as Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Rabbi Michoel Seligson, Rabbi Nochum Kaplan, Hatomim Shmuel Butler and others.
