As was revealed about a week ago, the mother of four little children recently perished in a hospital. Her cause of death was determined as starvation. The children have been left to fend for themselves, with the father hospitalized in a closed psychiatric facility.

This tragic story began twelve years ago when the Salomon family made the brave decision to immigrate to Israel from the United States. Filled with hope and determination, they settled in the North of the country.
One fateful day, without warning or explanation, the father inexplicably abandoned his wife, her elderly mother, and their four children, leaving them utterly forsaken!
Trapped in a spiral of despair, this struggling family suffered in silence. The story came to a sudden conclusion when the mother was hospitalized and passed of starvation.
“My mother was very sick. She had a tumor and wasn’t able to get out of bed,” says one of the smaller children. “Everything just happened at once. Now we don’t have a home or parents.”
“My mother passed away of organs failure. They ended up shutting down,” says the daughter. “It’s very tough living life with all the difficult things happening but we just try to make the best of it,” she continues. “The only thing that keeps us going is sticking together and trying to have each other’s backs.”
“It’s very heart-warming that people try to help those like us. My dream is to find a stable home and live a normal life with a good family that will take care of us,” adds the tragedy-stricken girl.
The children say they have nowhere to go since being left on their own.
