Rabbi Yaakov and Nicolle Rubinstein have recently been appointed as the new Shluchim to Tamarindo, Costa Rica.
The Rubinsteins and their two children have just moved to Tamarindo to establish the first Chabad Center in the coastal city.
The Rubinsteins will provide Jewish programming and services to the Jewish residents in the city, as well as the thousands of tourists who visit each year.
“Until now there was no Synagogue or Kosher food available, and we are excited to begin providing that for both local residents and visitors,” Rabbi Rubinstein told COLlive. “Our goal is to bring Jewish life to Tamarindo.”
The Rubinsteins were appointed by Rabbi Hershel and Chanie Spalter, Head Shluchim to Cost Rica.
