Chabad of Northwest Connecticut celebrated its 28th year with a marathon of Lag BaOmer events in the towns that the Shluchim Rabbi Yossi and Mina Eisenbach have served since 1996.
Southbury hosted its annual “concert in the park” with Israel’s ambassador of music Sandy Shmuely. Litchfield was treated to its “community BBQ.”
Waterbury hosted an all-night Farbrengen with R’ Sholom Mordechai Rubashkin followed by a Lag BaOmer day with Connecticut’s largest Mega Hakhel Event with over 400 attendees who joined the annual Lag BaOmer Family Fun Day.
The entire community joined the street fair, which included entertainment by Charles Rosenay from Liverpool Productions as well as a mountain bike stunt show from the Haro team.
Families also enjoyed a petting zoo, bounce houses, face painting and more.
