Dear friend,
My name is Dudy Drelich, and I am a Shliach in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I write to you today to share a special project that honors the memory of Henya Federman a”h, who dedicated her life to helping others.
During Henya’s hospitalization, thousands of Jews around the world united in saying Tehillim for her recovery. Despite our collective prayers, Henya passed away, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, selflessness, and care for others.
To commemorate her life, I decided to establish an ongoing program that embodies Henya’s values and impact. I am proud to introduce the Henya Federman Summer Program, a three-week initiative that will bring ten Bochurim to a small Jewish community to spread the love of Yiddishkeit and make a real impact.
Edmonton Alberta Canada, a city in the northern corner of the globe, has recently suffered two major losses. The only Frum school as well as the local Kollel in the city, which have been operating for almost thirty years, have closed down due to financial issues. As a result, many frum families have left the community, and others have resorted to sending their children to public schools. Many classes and programs have been discontinued, causing a decline in the spiritual level of the community.
Our program aims to uplift the community and bring back Jewish energy and pride. Through Torah learning, Farbrengens, and Chavrusas with local Ballei Batim and teenagers, we will create an environment that enables people to grow in their Yiddishkeit and form lasting relationships with the Bochurim.
Moreover, we will uplift patients in local hospitals and senior centers by visiting them weekly. Due to lack of manpower, these individuals haven’t been visited as much as needed. We will also strengthen daily Minyanim in the community.
As you can imagine, this undertaking involves many expenses. Therefore, we need your help to make this program a reality. Please donate to our program via the following links:

Together, let us honor Henya’s memory and continue her legacy of kindness and care for others.
