Chana Kaye, a 21-year-old Lubavitcher digital creator, came across an advertisement from the BBC seeking someone to produce Jewish media for the holidays.
Kaye, originally from the UK, went to California after graduating from high school in Israel. She has volunteered at Chabad centers and went on a three-month backpacking trek through Central America.
Recognizing the potential to share authentic Jewish media worldwide, she enthusiastically seized the opportunity.
The first result was a fun short clip about Pesach that was aired on BBC Bitesize, the BBC’s free online study support resource for school-age children in the United Kingdom.
Starring with Kaye in the video were Chana Rochel Rosenberg, Chaya Mushka Rosenberg, Rivka Rosenberg, the children of Rabbi Yigal and Elana Rosenberg of Chabad of S. Clara in California.
The BBC will be sharing more Jewish holiday content produced by a proud chossid on their Instagram page throughout the year, COLlive was told.
