Fresh yeast and lox??? Though this shoplifter needed to be apprehended, mostly to get the word out that shoplifting in Crown Heights stores definitely doesn’t pay and don’t dare try it, my guess is that this shoplifter either has extensive psychological problems and shoplifts random items she doesn’t even need and won’t use, or she comes from a home where baking is often done and lox is commonly used; v’dei lach’kimah. Very sad and disturbing in either case
We live in a jungle it’s terrible. You walk on to the Kingston subway platform and there are creeps and dangerous people galore. The police by 770 are useless

If not for police, we wouldn’t be here. Pirke Avot
The Rebbe and the previous Rebbe explained to us that we live in a garden and it’s up to us to reveal Hashem here. And they felt so after leaving Europe and Russia.
Perhaps this should be looked in to it can be she is desperate to feed her family….
I can relate to her situation.
With yeast and lox. Right…
With way, stealing is never right.
Assault = making victim apprehend that they are ABOUT to be hit
Battery = ACTUALLY hitting

What with the drug shelters, non-prosecution of criminals, alternate side parking almost every weekday, and 14 5G towers in an area that is already well covered.. you might almost think.. someone has something against us.
No surprise. We represent all the values that the City does not want.
They’ll probably keep her for a bit because of what she did to the police officer. However, if she only hit the Jewish store manager they’d let her walk easy. Justice in the city at it’s finest.
No worries…she was given a lecture, 2 free tickets to a Mets game, and she’s back on the streets looking for another store to loot.
I dont think any store employee is obligated to risk his or her life by confronting a shoplifer. It can be potentially a loss of money for the store owner but this is part of the risk of being a business owner.
From when and where did she cross border into the US
