On his way back to England after a short visit to New York, Rabbi Shaul Alter, who served as Rosh Yeshivah of Sfas Emes Yeshivah and the founder and current leader of Kehilas Pnei Menachem, an offshoot of the Ger dynasty, visited the Chabad stand at JFK airport, directed by Rabbi Yossi Rapp.
Shmuly Butler and other volunteers at the Chabad stand welcomed Rabbi Alter and presented him with the Sefer Otzarot HaMoedim, a compilation of the Rebbe’s teachings on Chanukah.
The Rosh Yeshiva looked through the Sefer and recalled the Rebbe’s words that one should pay for Seforim. He then took a dollar out of his pocket in order to purchase the book.

Rav Shaul is not only a rosh yeshiva. He has a large following who consider him their Rebbe.
Beautiful! Beautiful! Beautiful! The Rebbe said there should be no division amongst Jews. How good and how pleasant it is to see brothers (e.g., the sons of the Baal Shem Tov) dwell together. Thank you!
