Rabbi Simon Jacobson addressed the Bochurim in Oholei Torah at a special Hakhel gathering last week.
The gathering took place in Oholei Torah Zal, and Rabbi Jacobson told the Bochurim very interesting stories connected to Hakhel and various anecdotes from Chassidus explaining the concept of Hakhel, as well as what it means to be by the Rebbe for Hakhel.
Rabbi Jacobson also pointed out the significance and obligations of the Hakhel year and in following the Rebbe’s directive on all matters of Hakhel.
This was followed by a video presentation made for this event, featuring various Shluchim talking about the famous Hakhel year – 5748 – by the Rebbe.
This was part of an initiative in honor of the Hakhel year, of a weekly Seder Sichos for the Bochurim in Oholei Torah, as well a periodic special Seder Sichos in 770 and at the Ohel with provided transportation for all the Bochurim to join.
These Seder Sichos will be on a variety of topics including Inyonei Geulah U’Moshiach, Hakhel and more, and we will be joined by Mashpi’im and Shluchim Farbrengeng on the topic of Hakhel.
