New York City has just launched the lottery for a new development now being built on President Street between Rogers and Bedford on the site of the former Bedford-Union Armory.
Rents at the building located at 1101 President Street are extremely affordable, depending on income, with income levels starting as low as $23,000 a year for a couple.
Based on household income and family size, families are eligible for apartments at varying price levels, with 2-bedroom apartments from $700 to $1601 and 3 bedrooms from $800 to $1841. Smaller apartments are also available.
According to the building’s website, units feature brand new finishes and appliances and plenty of closet space. Tenants are responsible for electricity.
Amenities will include washers and dryers in units, Dishwashers in units, Bike storage lockers, Recreation room, Security cameras, Elevator and Energy-efficient appliances.
