Much like the Yidden who left Mitzraim, counting the days to receiving the Torah, the Kinder in Cheder Ohr Menachem began preparations weeks in advance.
For a Yom Tov so central to us, every kita had their own unique Hachana.
In the older division, Talmidim of Kitos Hey and Zayen learned the special Sugia of ‘Matan Torah’ from Maseches Shabbos with their Melamdim Rabbi Yisroel Botnick and Rabbi Yisroel Greenberg and all got to build a special glass Vayiten L’echa receiving all the brochos which come with Torah.
Rabbi Levi Belinov with their Talmidim of Kita Vov, upon finishing Perek Hakones and Tefilas Hashachar had a Fleishige BBQ seuda, while in the afternoon with Rabbi Reuven Mizrachi they went to practice the Melacha of Tzoveia (dyeing wool) which they learned in Hilchos Shabbos in great detail.
Rabbi Chanoch Hecht with his Talmidei Kita Zayin completed Hilchos Tefilin got to see all the stages of preparing a Torah from hide to klaf, ink and quills.
